Adoption
All the steps explained
Stages of adoption
If you've decided to adopt a toy dog from among those available for adoption, or if you'd prefer one of the puppies to be born soon, here are the steps to follow.
Step 1
Contact us on +33 6 50 97 06 07 to confirm that the puppy you have chosen is available.
We need to make sure that no reservation is already pending for this puppy.
Step 2
This stage includes an interview about your lifestyle to ensure that this dog is a good choice for your family.
If adoption is possible, your puppy's reservation will be definitively confirmed by receipt of your initial deposit.
Step 3
Send us your contact details by e-mail so that we can send you the sales contract as soon as we receive the initial deposit.
This contract must be signed and returned to us as soon as possible.
Your puppy's journey
Puppies travel by car or plane all over the world and are always accompanied. The puppy can be picked up at the airport or taken to your home.
We take care of reservations, transport formalities and the preparation of travel documents.
These costs, to be borne by the adopter, must be paid at least 15 days before the dog's departure, and no later than 12 weeks before the dog's arrival, so that we can book the transport in the best possible conditions, as well as all the formalities required for the dog's journey.
When importing pets to destinations outside Europe in particular, import documents and fees for customs clearance or special documents may be required by the host country. We can help you with these formalities and inform you of the fees in force.
For countries where quarantine is compulsory, the puppy will be handed over at the airport so that you can take over during the dog's quarantine period.
Terms of payment
For all adoptions, a step-by-step procedure is followed to ensure that the process runs smoothly.
Payments are to be made according to a schedule designed to optimize adoption and travel times for the dog.
Initial deposit:
A deposit of €500 is required to reserve your unborn puppy. If the puppy does not meet your expectations at birth, this deposit will be carried over to a future litter with no date limit.
Intermediate deposit:
When the dog is born, the deposit to reserve the puppy definitively will depend on its price:
- if the price is less than or equal to €5000, the deposit will be €1500
- between €5001 and €7000, the deposit will be €2000
- if the price is greater than €7000, the deposit will be €3000.
Balance of payment and fees:
The balance of the puppy's price and all fees must be paid at least 15 days before the dog's departure and no later than the dog's 12 weeks of age.
NB: No puppy reservation without a deposit. No puppy departure without full payment of price and fees.
